FileMaker 18 New Features: While Function

The new While function is certainly in the top three of all of the new features of FileMaker 18. While it is quite powerful, it can also be quite dangerous if not used properly!

In just one step, the While function can fundamentally accomplish the same benefits as four other popular components: Recursive Custom Functions, Loops, Script results, and the Let function.

When you understand how this works, it will become the new ‘go to’ method for anything requiring processes similar to those four.
