This talk focuses on the native American ladybug, Coccinella novemnotata. We’ll walk through the anatomy of the beetle and its habitat. We’ll compare the native beetle to the invasive and commonly seen, Harmonia axyridis, concluding with an overview of the important role the ladybug plays in our ecosystem.
