Salvaging of the hundreds of thousands litres of fuel onboard the Manawanui is expected to start in mid-November and take about 20 days.
Prime Minister Christopher Luxon also discussed the allegedly dangerous behaviour of the Wairarapa boy racers meet-up, and told Breakfast the Government is actively looking at ways police can be given more power to break up boy racer gatherings.
