Ace Records presents the official audio for 'I'm Moving On' by Kim Weston
To celebrate the 46th anniversary of the 6TS Rhythm & Soul Club at the 100 Club All-Nighter on Saturday 27th September, Kent Records are issuing the customary promotional 45.
Kim Weston’s ‘I’m Moving On’ was cut for her then husband, producer Mickey Stevenson, aided by the songwriter Willie Hutch. It was recorded at the same time as ‘You’re Just The Kind Of Guy’ which was released on MGM in 1967. This equally fine track was left in the vaults and gets its first release on our celebratory single. The music is as good as the names Weston, Stevenson and Hutch would suggest at this great moment in soul music history.
