The Big Screen on the Boardwalk - A spectacular new recording for 2021!

We are proud to announce the release of a new CD just in time for the 2021 Holiday season. "The Big Screen on the Boardwalk" is a new CD featuring 6 amazing organists playing music from the movies on both of the stunning pipe organs at Boardwalk Hall - including the largest pipe organ in the world!

Following the success of our Christmas CD “Deck the Halls” in 2020, we considered feedback from our friends and listeners and chose a particularly well-liked and popular genre – music from the movies! Some of the tracks are original scores while others are classical and have found their way into any number of films. The diverse playlist is sure to thrill both organists and non-organists and explores the vast tonal resources of both the Midmer-Losh organ in the main arena and the W. W. Kimball organ in the Adrian Phillips Theater.

This recording is also the first recording to use the Gallery I – 100” reeds, in fact, the first notes on the very first track introduce the listener to these pipes that haven’t been heard for many decades. Proceeds from the sale of the CD will help continue the restoration efforts!
