Konami's take on the metal gear solid lore, that is not officially considered to be a part of the "true timeline" of the story, on kojimas creation. but unlike other konami mgs games that add nothing of importance to the story, portable ops does, by expanding the lore and filling in the gaps, and answering questions we all wanted know.
