KTM 890 Adventure S and KTM 390 Adventure - Are they off-road worthy?

Power versus agility. We take our KTM 890 Adventure S and KTM 390 Adventure bikes to a section of the Great Western Trail in central Utah known as the "Velvet Ridge." Are these two bikes worthy of more than just forest service/logging/fire roads? Is power more important than agility for trails like this?

My son and I make a 400 mile trek to central Utah pounding pavement and riding dirt trails. Truly the 890 Adventure S shines on the highway while the lightweight, nimbleness of the 390 Adventure makes it a treat on the trail. The 890 Adventure S was, however, up to the challenge of the Great Western Trail. Too often I see reviews of the 890 Adventure S where the only dirt the bike sees is that of tame gravel roads. The bike is much more capable than that as you will see in this video even though it is not the R model, and I'm a pretty novice adventure rider. The KTM 390 Adventure shined both on the highway and on the dirt. My son is loving the bike. Watch as we take them through some rugged terrain.
