Welcome back to Part 2 of my Battambang vlog! 🇰🇭
On my last day in Battambang, Cambodia, I dove even deeper into the city’s food, history, and culture.
Highlights✨
-Mi Kola (a traditional noodle dish of the ethnic Kola people)
-Bamboo sticky rice
-Tour of the city and learning how Battambang got its name
-Wat Samrong Knong — one of the oldest pagodas in BTB, with a tragic history during the Khmer Rouge regime.
-Phnom Sampov (Mountain) — with gorgeous views of rice fields and the city, -The Killing Caves, a Khmer Rouge execution site that now stands as a memorial.
This vlog is truly shows Battambang’s contrasts. Its beauty, resilience, and the deep history that every Cambodian and Khmer diaspora should experience.
