Create your own sounds on the fly by blending samples together...
Sometimes it can be tricky deciding exactly which samples to choose for a specific track. Should you go with a hand clap or a tambourine layered over your backbeat? The club kick or the 808 on the bass drum?
In this issue’s lesson, we’ll be having our cake and eating it, too, by blending two samples together – all from within the sound module itself. This can be a particularly useful feature for creating samples on the fly, negating the need for computer software, which is commonly how we would create samples from scratch.....
