I'll be playing with this idea again. I loved the result, but I still want to use this technique to create something much more minimal. So note to self: Use less paint! LOL

Keys to Success:
1. Consistency is MORE important than ingredients. If you follow this recipe and don't get pearls, it's because your paints are too thick.
2. You'll get more and better pearls if you blow or pour the matte colors over the glossy pearl mix, rather than the other way around. Pearl mix on bottom, colors on top is where the magic happens.

Pearl Recipe:
4 parts US Floetrol
2 parts Lanco Gloss Varnish
2 parts Chromacryl White
1 part DecoArt Matte Metallics Ivory Pearl (or Vallejo Pearl Medium)
1/2 part GAC800
Slowly add water to reach a thin consistency - it should leave a *very small mound when drizzled off of the stir stick but disappear quickly

Color Recipe:
2 parts Floetrol
1 part paint
*Add water to match pearl mix consistency
