TOTALLY AWESOME!!!! Legally Blonde Act 1

CHS is a public high school and the theater department is 89% self funded by the kids and parents in the Program and our fundraising efforts throughout the year. This is NOT a Performing Arts High School however the CHS Theater Program is AMAZING and attracts talent from all over. Many transfer into our district just for the theater program. Anyone enrolled at CHS can audition and all rehearsals are after school. The Orchestra is made up of all KIDS in the CHS Music Program. The Sets, Sound and Lights were all made and done in our shop by kids, parent volunteers and teachers in the stagecraft program. Even the Light boxes that are part of the Proscenium were completely made and hung by our CHS kids in the shop then the Robotics team wired the lighting of the Proscenium (The lights around the stage) and programed the board. And the turn-table which we installed for this production was put together by the stagecraft kids, staff and parent volunteers. The costumes were assembled by our costume class and when applicable hand sewn by kids for the costumes that were made for this production. This production took the help of dedicated staff & teachers, hundreds of kids and parent volunteers and took countless hours to put together.... And the result is AWESOME!!!
