These are the Schindler 330A Hydraulic Elevators, at the 3rd Ave Parking Garage (yes, that's actually the name of the shopping center), Burlington, Massachusetts. It appears Wegmans is trying to make it their own.
Brand new roped hydraulic lifts, and are glass. We can see outside, and inside the shaft as well. When the other elevator (either one) is at the upper level, you are treated to a view of the mechanical system of the lifts.
Being they are brand new, they make a LOT of noise. This is NORMAL for a few years, as parts and panels making up the cab have not yet settled into place. Ride is smooth, barely any bounce to them at all (roped hydros are known for that, any manufacturer), while the valve timings are slightly too fast on one, these actually ride very well, and may prove what the industry is saying about Schindler's turn-around in quality.
