INTENSE and Vibrant Botanical Painting / Fluid Painting with Acrylics

It’s been raining here lately, so I decided to bring the sunshine back into the studio with a super vibrant painting I’m calling Sunlit. I started with a yellow-green background (Green Gold by Golden + white), and wow... this base was intense! So fresh, bright, and full of life.

The composition came together pretty intuitively with flowing strokes in pinks, oranges, and touches of green. I added contrast with some violet, transparent red, and even a few painted lines in sky blue to finish it off. It was a bit of a challenge to balance the contrast without overpowering the soft elegance of the piece, but I really love how it turned out.

No gold leaf this time, just paint and a whole lot of spring energy.
