APP DESCRIPTION:
OmniPlay is a SaaS omnichannel customer support platform that integrates multiple
communication channels (WhatsApp, Email, etc.) into a single interface for businesses.
SCOPE USAGE JUSTIFICATION:
1. Gmail
Allow businesses to connect their Gmail accounts as a support channel
Receive customer emails and convert them into support tickets
Reply to emails directly from the platform
We use IMAP/SMTP with OAuth2 (XOAUTH2) for secure access
This restricted scope is required because we use IMAP protocol,
not Gmail REST API
2. Google Calendar:
Sync company calendar with our scheduling system
Check availability for client appointments
Automatically create scheduling events
USER FLOW:
1. User (business admin) accesses OmniPlay settings
2. Clicks "Connect Gmail" or "Connect Google Calendar"
3. Is redirected to Google consent screen
4. After authorization, tokens are stored encrypted
5. Emails/events are synced automatically
SECURITY MEASURES:
Tokens stored with AES-256 encryption
Refresh tokens renewed automatically
Users can disconnect at any time
Data is never shared with third parties
