Russian presidential candidate Grigory Yavlinsky confirmed Sunday
(19/5) that he asked Russian president Boris Yeltsin during their
meeting Thursday (16/5) to fire most of his government if he
wants Yavlinsky's support.
Yeltsin is in a tight race for the Presidency with Communist candidate Gennady Zyuganov, and Yavlinsky's support could be crucial.
