Some months ago I've had the opportunity to play the amazing pipe organ at St. Laurenskerk in Rotterdam, Netherlands. This huge pipe organ features more than 7.600 individual pipes including super powerful Spanish trumpets and also is the largest fully mechanical pipe organ in Europe. A wonderful Bombarde 32' makes it perfect for French music as well - the instrument was an absolute joy to play!
I hope you'll enjoy this recording of the 'Prelude in C Minor' / Introduction of the Suite Gothique by Leon Boellmann which probably is one of the most famous pieces of organ literature. It is played by Paul Fey, recorded on the pipe organ at St. Laurenskerk in Rotterdam.
