Movie restoration was carried out by specialists from the "Telecinema and Computer Graphics" department of the "Mosfilm" studio.

Synopsis
The elderly prosecutor's investigator, Myachikov, is being pushed toward "well-deserved retirement." This causes a feeling of deep indignation in Myachikov's friend, the engineer Vorobyov. He is convinced that Myachikov urgently needs to solve some kind of "crime of the century." But such events are rare, and therefore, they must organize one themselves. Vorobyov and Myachikov steal a Rembrandt painting from the city museum...
