Playthrough of the Fire Station portion of the Busytown CD-ROM game, both the 1993 MS-DOS version and the 1999 remake version! I do have to admit, the 1999 version seems more faithful to the Richard Scarry books and the animated series. It also replaces that generic cat family from the 1993 version with Huckle Cat and his parents! (But his younger sister Sally is absent for some reason.)
I also switched the music around again: the 1993 version has the MIDI music from the 1999 version, which makes it actually seem more exciting! The 1999 version has the music from the crappy SEGA Genesis version from 1994, which actually does sort of fit for those who remember the original versions.
I still find it strange how all the firefighters in Busytown are pigs! Why not any rabbit or cat firefighters? Is it a requirement that you have to be a pig if you want to be a firefighter in Busytown?
