As part of the IAMC and ICONICS webinar series, we launched the new SSP 3.0 Socioeconomic Projections!
The SSP 3.0 data (Release January 2024) of projections for GDP and Population for the Shared Socioeconomic Pathways are ready for release and will be presented and explained during this webinar held on Thursday 8 February 2024, hosted jointly by ICONICS and the IAMC. All data is available for download at the SSP explorer: https://data.ece.iiasa.ac.at/ssp.
During the webinar, the methodology, features and limitations of the new data were explained.
Moderators: Keywan Riahi (IIASA) and Detlef van Vuuren (PBL)
Speakers: Samir KC (IIASA) on population projections; Rob Dellink (OECD) and Jesus Crespo Cuaresma (Vienna University of Economics and Business) on GDP projections.
