EPISODE 23 | CHENNAI TO MADURAI | TIGER 1200 GREAT INDIA ADVENTURE | 20.11.2022

First night travelogue in the Great India Adventure Series began with stepping out of Chennai well past dinnertime, without much traffic, I set destination toward Madurai.

The early start (or rather late) was motivated in part by an incoming cyclone on the Coromandel Coast, especially with the rainy season onset, delays can't be expected but rather be planned around, as it would eat up time I have before I need to reach the West Coast.

As with night travel, carry-on fatigue from traveling since the past month, a regular dose of coffee and Red Bull whichever is available became the norm. During my second break, with a little sleepiness I played tug of war with the Highway to one side and an AC Room to the other.

Eventually the highway won, with me setting destination to Rameswaram.
