1996 promo featured only on "special screener" copies of 'Classic Scooby-Doo' which were sent to retailers to encourage them to sell the series of VHS tapes. While the beginning half of the promo is similar to what would appear on released copies, the second half was exclusive to these tapes and features the preliminary artwork for the "Classic Scooby-Doo" and "Scooby-Doo in Arabian Nights" covers.
As far as I know, there are 6 other Scooby-Doo retailer promos: Zombie Island*, Witch's Ghost, Alien Invaders, Cyber Chase, Scooby's All Star Laff-a-Lympics and the Greatest Mysteries/Classic Scooby-Doo compilation tapes. Screening copy tapes without special promos include: Boo Brothers, Ghoul School, Reluctant Werewolf, Scooby Goes Hollywood, Zombie Island, the first live-action Scooby-Doo feature film, and the compilation tapes Creepiest Capers, Original Mysteries, Spookiest Tales, Winter WonderDog, Scooby-Doo Meets Batman, and Cartoon Network Cartoon Crack-Ups.
*The Zombie Island retailer promo oddly appears on the Quest for Camelot screener.
