$15 Beanie Baby Mystery Bag

Hello Beanie Baby Friends!!

This is a video I filmed in June, 2021.
I found a $15 Beanie Baby mystery bag on Facebook marketplace. They were about a half an hour drive from us, but we were going to be in that area for an outdoor concert at the park, so we planned pick up around that.
The plan was going to be to find any treasures to add to our collection and then give away any beanie baby duplicates to the kids and concert goers around us.
Unfortunately, most of the beanie babies were covered in dust and fur 🤬🤯 and I was too embarrassed about their condition to give them away.
Yet another lesson in “you get what you pay for”. Cheap Beanie Babies are often Toys and NOT collectibles.
We had some fun and played catch with them and then threw some of them away. 🤷🏻‍♀️
One woman stopped by to chat about them and we offered for her to take one home with her. She has a beanie baby collection and chose the Teenie Nanook, her daughter has husky’s and she was going to be flying out to Colorado to visit her soon. I absolutely love hearing friend’s beanie baby stories and memories!! ❤️
Our kitty cat Bride was the best treasure from this lot, and now we have Valentina wearing the wedding dress and she looks fabulous! 👰🏻‍♀️
Speaking of treasures, this Lot came with several Ty Attic Treasures, we don’t collect those so I passed them along to beanie baby friend Alex to add to his attic treasures collection.
Also, the Indigo Girls Concert was STELLAR!!

As far as Value goes:
for $15 we received
20 beanie Babies, 8 filthy, 12 we kept
4 attic treasures, gifted to a friend
5 teenie beanie Babies, gave one away, kept 2
