Dec 14, 2024 A day trip to Knole Deer Park on the only day that was going to be sunny for that week.
This did not disappoint. I went through motorways and fast dual carriageways on both legs and it was fun! It definitely helps looking up the route and junctions via Google Street View to ensure I don't miss my interchanges. The drive was smooth apart from the long stretches of road works and volume of cars on M25 so had to do 50mph for most of the time.
Approaching Sevenoaks, I was not sure what to expect and it is such a quaint tiny town. The twists and turns and the fast roads are quite surprising but thoroughly enjoyed it. Knole is beautiful especially in glorious sunlight. There are a few more parks and castle in the area so I might make another visit someday.
