This morning, at my church, I had the wonderful opportunity to share the word of God in a powerful way with the title: Check Your Work - A Spiritual Reset ✍🏾
We often deceive ourselves about our true spiritual condition. Self-examination acts as a vital diagnostic tool, revealing hidden areas of sin, lukewarmness, or deviation from Christ's example.
This involves asking hard questions: Is my time with God authentic? Do my words match my faith? Are my relationships characterized by love and grace? The work of faith is not just in doing, but in discerning what needs correction.
The purpose of checking our work is not condemnation, but repentance and restoration. When we find errors, the instruction is clear: turn away from the flawed path and "return to the Lord." This action is always met with God's steadfast love and mercy.
Don't just go through the motions. Take the time today to truly "Check Your Work." ❤️
