Havana was born with Rett Syndrome. She communicates with her eyes by looking at your eyes for "yes" and looking away for "no." It is difficult for Havana to talk due to Rett Syndrome, but she understands the world around her. With the use of the Tobii, an eye-gaze computer, Havana is able to communicate her needs and wants.
At the beginning of this video Havana is dealing with muscle spasms and is very uncomfortable. Havana will communicate her need to rest during this portion of the video. Later you'll see her on a different day when she is feeling better and communicating her wants.
