Kurn shows you one method of attuning yourself to Molten Core without need for a group! Performed at level 57 with a night elf hunter.
Stealth classes will have an easier time, even easier if you're a druid who can heal yourself. Otherwise, this is also likely possible with a healing friend and more invisibility potions.
