Hello everyone !
Celebrating my first Diwali at my in-laws’ house was truly a special and memorable experience. The excitement began days before the festival, with everyone involved in cleaning, decorating, and preparing sweets. I helped my mother-in-law make delicious laddoos and chaklis, while my father-in-law guided me in arranging the diyas around the courtyard.
On Diwali evening, the entire house glowed with lights and joy. We all dressed up in traditional clothes — I wore a beautiful saree gifted by my mother-in-law. Together, we performed the Lakshmi puja, prayed for happiness and prosperity, and then exchanged sweets and gifts.
After the puja, we stepped outside to light diyas and burst a few sparklers, laughing and enjoying the festive spirit. What made this Diwali truly special was the love and warmth I received from my new family. It felt like I had found another home, filled with blessings, laughter, and togetherness.
