Galaxy ink swirl with LIGHTS!!

I was working on a Christmas lights tumbler and a coworker suggested doing lights with a galaxy theme. Whaaaaat? Ok!! So here it is! I’m still working out the kinks on the battery pack, but so far doing the notch, cutting the compartments out of the bottom piece, thin epoxy over the wire in the base, and shaving off some of the plastic is working. I know that sounds like a LOT. It kinda IS. I’ve seen people post about drilling through the cup, but where it needs it seems like it would break the seal of the cup. I’m not keen on doing that. I’ll post updates when I find the magic combo.

It still needs about 2 coats, but is finished enough to get the idea across.
