The tools you will need for your Jeep Grand Cherokee door panel removal-
7mm socket
10mm socket
Pick hook tool
Wedge / pry tool
Removing the door panel on your Grand Cherokee is very straightforward.
Use the pick hook to remove the small trim behind the interior handle, there you will see two fasteners. Remove the 10mm bolt, but leave the Phillips screw as it is for the handle and does not secure the panel to the door.
The next fastener is beneath a small cover located in the grip pocket you would hold when closing the door. It is a hinged trim and will not be removed completely. There you will find the 7mm fastener.
At this point you are able to take your wedge/pry tool at the bottom of the panel to begin releasing the push clips that are holding the panel in place. Work your way up the sides, releasing the clips as you go.
