We are traveling from Ayodhya to Lanka to check if the information in the Valmiki Ramayana is true. The details about the places and forests Shri Ram visited are amazing. We want to see if these details match real places or if the Ramayana is just a story.

We invite you to join us on this quest to discover the truth. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to visit the places mentioned in the Ramayana and follow the same path Shri Ram took to reach Lanka in search of Sita.

India was ruled by foreigners for a long time, especially by the British. Because of this, our history and scriptures have been changed to fit the rulers' agendas.

The British funded scholars who supported their views and even paid some to add false verses to our scriptures. This has led to confusion and division in society.

Except for the Vedas, most scriptures have been altered, some more than others. The Ramayana and Mahabharata, two of our most important historical texts, have also been affected.

The Mahabharata has changed many times. It started as Jaya with 4,400 verses by Vyasa, then became Bharatas with 10,000 verses by Vaishampayana (Vyasa's disciple), and finally Mahabharata with 15,000 verses by Ugrasravas or Sauti (Vaishampayana's disciple). By the time of Raja Bhoja (around the 7th century AD), it had 30,000 verses. Today, it has over 100,000 verses, making it hard to tell which parts are original.

The Ramayana has also been altered, with the Uttar Ramayana (7th Kanda) added later. Some believe the Bal Kanda is also a later addition. It isn't easy to know what was originally included in the other Kandas.

The big question is what was in the original versions and what was added later with an agenda. There is much research on the history of many places, including India, but most of this work is done by outsiders with their own agendas. The insider perspective is often missing.

That's why Vediconcepts has partnered with some gurukuls to study our scriptures directly in Sanskrit. We are also conducting projects to verify the authenticity of the information in our scriptures.
