My bamboo grows where the Native Americans once thrived. Love Quena Flute Making!!!More Sunday because while the video was uploading played around with the flute, it is going to be perfect after a bit of tweaking. It still needs to be sanded and burned with fire. I forgot if one half covers up one it is a different note. Also just pulled some more of this 3 year old bamboo to make more flutes Sunday. Forgot how much love to make flutes. So many youtube hours years ago studying the process.
One of the pieces of bamboo pulled before started making the first flute....thought "this i have to do something for me with this one" it called to me... and then noted i had wood burned "LMC" into it. Love love love bamboo. Its a communicative earth element!!!! Plus you can wack someone with it need b. Then play a tune.
I just found a video how to tune flutes logically ill watch it next week after play around my own process. Washing out 5 gallon buckets to place all the flutes I'm going to make tomorrow. Seems like an easy way to cart them around.
