COSMO SCARF TUTORIAL - AN EASY-TO-DO CROCHET PROJECT!

In this video, I will go into full detail on how to successfully complete the Cosmo Scarf
pattern from Red Heart, which I will include in this description.

This is a easy two-row repeat project, which is perfect for an absolute beginner or crochet
novice.

The length can easily be adjusted, if you wish.

Disclaimer: All of the stitches mentioned in this video are using US terms

The Materials used in this tutorial are as follows:

*2 cakes of Caron Cakes yarn - color Fairie Cake (of course any number 4 worsted weight yarn
can be used) - total amount needed is approximately 800 yards
*a size H/8 or 5.0 mm crochet hook
*a row counter (optional)
*scissors
*a magazine measuring around 12 inches

Abbreviations: ch = chain, dc = double crochet, sc = single crochet, sts = stitches

Row 1: chain 30, skip the first 3 chains, DC in 4th chain from hook, DC in next 2 ch [skip 2
ch, DC in next chain, ch 3, work 3 DC around post of DC just worked, skip 2 ch, DC into
next 3 ch] 3 times - 24 DC

Row 2: ch 3 (does not count as first DC here and throughout), turn work, DC in next 3 sts, [ch 2,
SC in top of ch-3 from last row, ch 2, skip 3-DC group, DC in next 3 DC] 3 times - 12 DC, 3 SC
6 ch-2 spaces

Row 3: ch 3, turn work, DC in first 3 DC, [skip ch-2 space, DC in next SC, ch 3, work 3 DC around
post of DC just worked, skip next ch-2 space, DC in next 3 DC] 3 times - 24 DC

Rows 4-160: Repeat rows 2-3, ending with a Row 2, Fasten off

Fringe
Cut (3) 12 inch strands of yarn. Hold strands together and fold in half to form a loop. With Right Side
facing, insert loop into an edge DC and thread through - total of 12 fringe groups per side.
