North of the Main Range of Kosciuszko National Park lies the Jagungal Wilderness. At the right times of year, this can be a stunning playground. The wrong times, whether that be during summer or winter it can be harsh and inhospitable. For this hike the timing was perfect, a mild weather window, epic sunrises and silence. 3 Days hiking in silence, making peace with my own thoughts and recharging the batteries in the way only time in nature can.
