Tanemans x Sunoco GTR32 - Shoichiro Masumoto's Attack Tsukuba Super Lap - Full Run

After the event when Mike was naming these in-car files, he humorously titled Shoichiro's lap as 'Good Laugh' because he couldn't remember his name. It's true though, he does have a good laugh.

For nearly a decade, Shoichiro has been a constant source of energy and enthusiasm at every track he visits. Time attack racing is an intense and highly focused discipline, where most drivers are deeply absorbed in their own preparations before an event. However, Shoichiro stands out from the crowd—rather than isolating himself, he prioritizes connecting with those around him, always greeting friends and fellow competitors with a bright demeanor. This approach reflects his genuine love for the entire experience of circuit driving. His cheerful nature, however, doesn’t take away from his skill, as he has proven himself to be a serious competitor on track.

The R32 has an RB26 engine, fully rebuilt with a Nismo N1 block and a Brian Crower 2.9-liter stroker kit, delivering an impressive 800+ horsepower. At just 1,150 kilograms, that's more than enough power to try and handle around TC2000 (as you can see). A Hollinger 6-speed, air powered sequential transmission, OS Giken triple clutch and flywheel, and an ATS carbon differential help get it all to the pavement. Its aerodynamic enhancements include a carbon front splitter, canards, and a Super Now swan neck GT wing, while the suspension setup consists of ADMIX-spec Endless dampers paired with HAL springs.
