The Adventures of Cubs Flip Flops | Drayton Manor Guest Vlog

Hey! We're Alan, Vic and the star of the show Cub. Together, we are The Adventures of Cub's Flip Flops.

Cub is Autistic and really struggles with anxiety, so we started our channel as a bit of fun for him as he loved watching theme park vlogs and wanted his own.

By visiting we found this was giving Cub all this new found confidence. Instead of not wanting to leave the house, he was getting excited to go to new places as he had a passion for theme parks and rollercoasters.

Cub doesn't ride the roller coasters yet but he said that it's his is dream to, and knowing him and how determined he is, he will do it one day.

This is his first season going to theme parks and even though we only go to watch (and send Daddy on the big rides lol) he is like a changed little boy, that now wants to travel the world! He amazes us daily with his passion and knowledge of rollercoasters worldwide.

Now he loves to share his adventures and knowledge with everyone and we hope to help other families find Autistic friendly places as well as try to make more places aware of the needs of all neurodivergent conditions, and how small changes can make a huge difference to children and adults alike.

Cub was absolutely made up when Drayton Manor asked us to make a guest vlog. It was his first time to the park, so it's one adventure he will never forget!

It meant the absolute world to him and we had the best day. It's perfect for Cub with having the big rides to watch, Thomas Land with plenty of small flat rides he is comfortable with going on, and the zoo and the lake area for the quiet times and beautiful views when he needs to have a break.

Overall Drayton Manor is a fantastic park with great accessibility all around. We will definitely be spending a lot of time there from now on.
