This is the pilot episode of The Backyard Boys, a docuseries following two friends running a successful steak sandwich shop in Toronto’s Little Italy as they build something bigger than just a restaurant.

What started in a backyard has turned into a full-blown operation.

In this episode, the boys take on their biggest challenge yet: running two shops simultaneously. While the main restaurant stays open, they also step outside into chaos, operating a tent at Toronto’s largest street food festival, serving sausages and steak sandwiches to a crowd of over 600,000 people.

No pauses. No do-overs. Just long lines, high pressure, and real decisions in real time.

This series ain't about overnight success, it’s about the grind, the risks, the laughs, and the moments most people never see behind the counter.
