Arla Markael is an educator, coach, tone weaver, and witness of the importance of human sovereignty, embodiment, secure relationship, and conscious choice. She brings 20+ years of experience in education, wellness, and human development, along with a deeply lived understanding of how inner authority is formed, challenged, and reclaimed.

Growing up immersed in nature, Arla developed an early sense of presence and connection to the body, which was lost due to trauma. Later, she navigated and ultimately left a highly legalistic cult, and both experiences shaped her commitment to helping people recognize conditioning and reclaim their inner voice.

In this class, Arla’s focuses on the challenges teens face in a world that often sends the message that their needs, boundaries, and inner signals don’t matter. Through mindfulness, nervous-system awareness, and embodied practices, she teaches students how to recognize societal and relational programming, sensing what true alignment feels like in the body, and know when it is important to stand up for themselves in kindness to themselves and others.

Arla emphasizes holding one’s own sovereign inner space—learning how to be grounded, self-aware, and internally anchored so one can speak, choose, and be heard from a place of clarity and self-trust.
Her teaching style is compassionate, practical, and empowering, offering teens (and adults) tools they can carry for life.
