Riding Miami-Dade Transit Metrobus 199, Aventura Mall to NW 176 St & NW 58 Ave, 2021 New Flyer XN40

This is a full/complete ride of Miami-Dade Transit (MDT) Metrobus Route 199 Westbound (2021 New Flyer XN40; 21125) from Aventura Mall to NW 176 St & NW 58 Ave/Red Rd Transit Hub via NE/NW 199th Street, NE/NW 215th Street, and Ives Dairy Rd.

Route 199 passes through some popular locations and residences in Miami Gardens, like Hard Rock Stadium, Hamlet at Walden Pond, California Club Security, Walmart Supercenter, and Calder Casino.

This is a special video because it's the last day of free fares and this route had made lots of adjustments. This route was formerly numbered 99, but as of November 23, 2023, the route was renumbered to 199 and due to the Better Bus Network, the new last stop is NW 176 St & NW 58 Ave because the new route was shortened, and it no longer serve most of the stops of Route 99.

OPINIONS AND OBSERVATIONS ABOUT THE BETTER BUS NETWORK:
I really like the Red Rd Transit Hub because it's located inside lots of different supermarkets. The new Better Bus Network is actually the best network I've tried and it's true. I actually wanted to film on New Year's Eve because it's the last day of free fares and there aren't that much people riding. Honestly, Miami-Dade Transit is doing a fantastic job in improving this service! They're way better than Broward County Transit. I really like that Miami-Dade Transit is discontinuing most of the routes because lots of people aren't riding it and it's a waste that the bus operator need to drive around to a place, that they don't want to go.

The bus operator was driving really fast, but she was professional and friendly. I'm glad that the bus does have phone chargers, under the seat. Free Wi-Fi is available. The bus passes through lots of nice neighborhoods. I really like that the bus does stop, at some Broward County Transit Bus stops (Route 2, 18, and 441 Breeze), so that people can transfer further to Broward County areas.
