yes I am aware that you can still close your spare tyre carrier, if you also modify it by removing the wheel lift plate, but i chose to remove it as i wanted my car to look a little more unique and if i go up a size again i wont need to modify again. So either way there is still work involved in going up a tyre suze its not just as simple as placing the new tyre in, this is just one of the ways you can modify it another way is by removing the tyre lift plate, this is just an option for people wanting something a little different. if you have upgraded your tyres in your Pajero or thinking about it this is the video for you as when you go up a size the rear door cover might not shut. when i removed my rear tyre cover, I was left with a bunch of holes and wiring running out from where it used to be, and it made the back of my car look ugly and in complete. so, I had these made up from a guy called Russell Allen, you will find him on Pajero pages on Facebook like the gen4 page. these panels sit nice and flush and definitely very happy with the end result. https://www.facebook.com/groups/80781...
