Do you know who designed the Air Jordan 3? Tinker Hatfield, of course! The Air Jordan 3 ‘Tinker’ pays homage to his original design, including the Nike Swoosh on the side that didn’t make the final cut for the OG Air Jordan 3.

Nothing about this shoe is looking right…this is going to take some serious restoration work. Buckle up, this is going to be a challenging one! Welcome back to another episode of Restorations w/ Vick…let’s get started!

Of all of the problems with this shoe, the worst is probably the shape. Look at how smashed the heel is! After giving the Jordan 3 a thorough clean with the Signature Kit and Laundry System, the shoe actually regained its shape and looks much better, structurally speaking.

Let’s move on to the nitty-gritty restoration work. Vick repainted the entire midsole, unyellowed the outsole with Sole Revive, and dyed the suede upper. Each step was crucial in order to get these Tinker Jordan 3s back to factory feel and finish.

After spraying the shoes with Water + Stain Repellent to lock in the dye and finishing the Elephant Print with a hit of Mink Oil, these bad boys are ready to go.
