रिम्स की जमीन पर से अतिक्रमण हटाने गई जिला प्रशासन को भारी विरोध का सामना करना पड़ा. Dig मैदान के पास काफ़ी संख्या में आकर महिलाएं बुलडोजर के सामने आकर विरोध करना शुरू कर दिया इसको लेकर काफी देर तक हंगामा होते रहा बाद में किसी तरह पुलिस के हस्तक्षेप के बाद महिलाएं बुलडोजर के सामने से हटी जब उन्हें बताया गया कि आपके घरों पर बुलडोजर आज नहीं चलेगा अभी सिर्फ नापी का काम किया जा रहा है. इस दौरान भारी संख्या में पुलिस बल की तैनाती की गई थी.

Later, after police intervention, the women moved away from the bulldozer when they were told that the bulldozer would not be used on their homes today; only survey work was being carried out.
