My first and only visit to this line in the Forest of Dean coincided with their September 2025 Diesel Gala.
The main attractions were visiting locomotives 50 021 Rodney and 55 009 Alycidon. The line's residents 09 and 08 classes were meant to bolster the roster, but for some reason we only got to see the 09 in action. The 08 was parked up in the siding at Norchard.
The video includes shots from the entire length of the 4 1/2 mile line from Lydney to Parkend.
