For sale is a 1968 Porsche 912. This vehicle came out of Southern, CA. It has been a CA car since new, I believe three total owners. The previous owner had plans on restoring it but hurt his back and decided to sell it. This is a running and driving car that could be driven as a patina. It is finished in its original light ivory paint, as indicated by the paint code 6804. The body is very straight, it is free of any major previous accidents. The panels all have great gaps, and mostly just superficial rust. The interior is mostly original. The full cosmetic condition is shown in the photos and videos. Mechanically it runs and drives fairly well! The motor sounds good and has plenty of power. It is powered by what we believe is its original engine, four speed manual transmission. Transmission shifts through all gears. The clutch and brakes feel good. Of course this car could use general TLC all around. The carburetors are new, but they could be tuned a bit better. The shifter bushing is old, it could use new ones. It's an old car, you'll be tinkering with everything but overall the main components are solid. The floors are original and untouched.
