They didn’t.

I work for a division that doesn’t exist on any map or record. When an exorcist vanishes mid-assignment—no body, no confession, no last rites—I’m sent in to find what’s left. Most of the time, there’s blood. Sometimes there’s screaming trapped in the walls. Once, there was a cassock still kneeling, praying to nothing.

Every disappearance follows a pattern. Same sigils half-erased. Same final prayer cut short. Same warning written in Latin, always unfinished—as if the writer ran out of time… or breath.

📜 There are rules for tracking them:
✝️ Never read an exorcist’s final notes out loud
✝️ If you hear chanting with only one voice, run
✝️ Do not respond if the priest calls you by name
✝️ And if you find their rosary still warm—leave it behind

The worst part isn’t finding the missing exorcists.
It’s realizing some of them didn’t disappear.

Some of them finished the ritual.
And whatever followed them back is pretending to be human—waiting for the next exorcism.
