How to Calculate Area Using The Limit Definition (Calculus Lesson 34)

In this lesson we learn about how to calculate the area under a curve using the limit definition. We discuss how if we were to use a Riemann sum, and continually increase the number of rectangles, n, we are using, the approximation of the area under the curve gets better and better. Thus, the limit of the Riemann Sum formula as n approaches infinity will give us the exact value of the area under the curve.
