Great nights fishing at Sandgate castle, in Kent.
The session started a little slowly with a blank reel in or two,
But then the rod tip went down with a decent bite.
Before long I had two bass on the beach!
One just under the legal landing size and one just over!
That's dinner sorted!
With minimal bait I stretched the session out as long as possible,
and I wasn't disappointed with a nice variety of fish and a surprise or two,
I went home a happy man!
The Vercelli Enygma Furia rod and the Penn Battle 3 & Surfblaster 2
were all put through their paces in the harsh conditions but performed well.
