Winter Wonderbag (Does a Wonderbag Work OUTSIDE in the British Winter?)

In this video I wanted to find out if my non-electric Slowcooker (Wonderbag) would be just as effective in the British winter, as it was during the summer. Find out if it worked, the issue I had and how I overcame it. We are a family of five, plus animals, living in the UK, trying to be as self-reliant as possible using the space we have, after chronic illness leading to job loss halted our small holding dreams. Slow Cooker Rice Pudding Recipe (I made four times this)

Ingredients

15g/1/2oz Butter or Ghee
550ml/1 Pint Milk
50g/2oz Pudding Rice
50g/2oz Sugar or sugar alternative (use less if you don't want it as sweet)

Method

Grease the slow cooker pan/pot with the butter/Ghee
Add the rest of the ingredients and stir

Cook on high for 2-2 1/2 hours on high or 3 1/2-4 hours on low in the electric slow cooker.
If using a Wonderbag or haybox method heat thoroughly for 15 minutes then add to Wonderbag/Haybox for four hours.
