High Knob and Skidmore Fork: Overlanding West Virginia to Virginia

There are only around 100 miles between the Canaan Loop Road (Blackwater Falls State Park) in West Virginia and Flagpole Knob in Virginia, but the roads in between can pack in a lot of beautiful sights! Today we explore the High Knob Tower on the border between West Virginia and Virginia, and then briefly enjoy Switzer Reservoir (Lake) before heading up Skidmore Fork (one of the roads leading to Flagpole Knob) in search of dispersed camping.
