Yes, a rare thing. You know, a form of words from Matt Goodwin that I would agree with. He said that Boris Johnson lied to the country.

Absolutely. But we don't have long enough left in our segment to go into that.

Look, I mean, Matt is living in a parallel universe. Brexit has been destructive to our economy. There was a report out just this week on the nine-year anniversary. It says that the damage done has been to the tune of £100 billion. We've forgone £40 billion in tax revenue. That's the entire sum that we had to raise in last year's budget.

And you know what's most powerful about it is the businesses that I meet who have been most badly impacted are the small and medium-sized enterprises. So many of them have been forced out of business altogether, drowning in bureaucracy and red tape because we left the single market, because we left the single best thing that a Conservative government did.

So do you want to go back into the single market?

Andrew Lewin MP:
So what I am clear about is that we're having a reset. You know that we have the grown-ups back in the room, that Keir Starmer has begun to mend the relationships with our EU leaders, and we've got a path forward now on lots of things including youth mobility, by the way, which I'm particularly passionate about.
