May Day Prespawn Tactics

What do you do when all the shallow bass are small males hanging under docks at the very start of the spawn? Marc Marcantonio finds this situation on American Lake in western Washington and shows how he adjusts to the situation. Water temperature was 59 degrees in the morning, and 62 degrees at the end of the day. With ultra-clear water and only a faint breeze, fishing conditions are tough.
